  • EFT tapping is a mind-body method of tapping acupuncture points while focusing on an issue or feeling you would like to resolve. Our thoughts, beliefs, and emotions create suppressed energy and physical responses in the body. The amygdala, a part of the brain, registers stress triggers and sends out the “fight-or-flight” response when we have fear or limiting thoughts. This initiates a physical stress response in the body. EFT Meridian Tapping neutralizes these thoughts and allows the energies to flow. It also calms the amygdala (fight, flight, freeze or fawn), regulates the nervous system (stress hormones, obsessive thoughts, emotions) and decreases stress and anxiety. When we choose to acknowledge and neutralize these inner fears, griefs, and wounds, through EFT, they no longer trigger the amygdala and create imbalance. Many patients experience instant relief of pain, fatigue, and anxiety after using EFT Meridian Tapping.

  • When past experiences/ traumas/ memories are not fully resolved, the amygdala in our brains is continuing to be alerted that there are threats in real time and activates the fight and flight response. Our bodies are flooded with stress hormones, our central nervous systems activated and we end up with sensations in our bodies, emotions, thoughts, and limiting beliefs that amp up our stress and anxiety. Understanding that there are 3 separate pieces that need to be dealt with - the sensations in our bodies, the limiting beliefs, and the emotions - helps us to understand where to focus our attention. Using tapping as a tool we are able to neutralize these aspects, calm the amygdala, regulate the nervous system, and decrease anxiety and stress. So, when you are anxious is the best time to start!

  • What I have found is that to shift your thinking, we need to uncover and release the emotions and the story, shift the thought patterns around it, AND remove the stuck energy keeping it trapped. This is why incorporating EFT tapping is the ultimate way of letting go so you can create the authentic life you DO want.
